I work in collaborative situations to create performances and experiences.

 

 
   Lucy Adelaide, Celeste, Lauren, Lucy, Maddie, Niha  by Roland Carline & Rachel Gildea (2017)   This work was commissioned by  Strange Cargo Gallery , Folkestone and  Royal Academy Schools . It was a collaboration with visual artist  Roland Carline  and six young women from Folkestone. The month long residency in August 2017 culminated in a performance on the opening night of Folkestone Triennial.

   Destination Carnival , Brouhaha International (2016/2017)   This international collaboration took place over 18 months 2016-17 and involved artists from UK, South Africa and India. It was produced by  Brouhaha International . We performed the work at Cape Town Carnival 2016/2017, Liverpool Carnival 2016, Edinburgh Carnival 2016 and Goa Carnival 2016. More info  here.

  Disco Dadz Project (2015 - present)   Disco Dadz is a monthly disco and dance session in Rose Hill and Barton, Oxford. with a professional dance tutor and DJ. Supported by Awards For All and other local funders, it is specifically aimed at male identifying care givers/ lone parent fathers and their children under 11. We welcome all family models.
